from Utrecht, the Netherlands, is a musical duo. They make avant-garde anarchojazzpunk. Improvisation and experiment are the foundations of their music. Moments of extreme noise explosions go hand in hand with sweet melodic tones. Without remorse they rape everything that’s beautiful. If it’s ugly, they polish it until it shines. Musical holy houses are demolished with a sledgehammer. From the debris they built it up again in their own way. Inspired by the likes of Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, John Zorn and Zu the members of Lärmschutz throw away all the rules and go their own way.
