Underlying sample is radio static played back at roughly 25% +/- 20% and varying its start point constantly, which is in turn also regulated by a random value.
Pings comes from a loop of static played through a random gravity-based sequencer that are then re-ordered, grain-size-shifted and output to a pitched, sympathetic resonator.
Chords are shorter radio wave samples with variable playback start points, pitched polyphonically
