about

I’m making experimental electronic music under the name Batchas since the early eighties.
Since a decade, I’m principally improvising on modular synths during short sessions of 30 minutes.
I always found Éliane Radigue inspiring. First for her music on the ARP 2500, but also for her life path and the relation between her music and meditation.
I like to think that I have a few things in common with her. Nice where I was born, the ARP 2500 which I always loved and last but not least the Karma Kagyu teachings.
With all this in mind, I made this track on my Serge Paperface system from 1978, using 4 oscillators and 3 filters as sound sources, recorded directly to stereo.
