μελωφοβία or melophobia is a sonic creator from Greece whose abstract manipulations of noise and silence are alternately ambient and aggressive.

Sound experiments under the name of Melophobia have a combined naive and not technical approach through analogue channels and arbitrarily pre-constructed instruments. Field recordings in nature and urban environment are used as raw material to craft a series of sounds, organized and coherent, all related to the single topic of experimenting with noise and everything heard and sometimes as low as unheard, around us. Melophobia contained many different kinds of manipulation and sonic collage. Releases were made in cassette, floppy disc, cdr, lathe cut, mini cd, various digital format and printed.

In the year 2020, this project celebrates the 'china' sound edition of a 'ruby' human (20 years of sonic creations in a 40 years life). A series of heteronyms will be used, intended to close the years of the paragraph. Although there are some rules governing the length of paragraphs, this one could not be measured in characters, words, waves or sentences.
