melophobia (μελωφοβία) is an experimental project created in Greece in 2001. melophobia's main interest in electro-acoustic / improv / experimental music is crafted and assembled through various analogue sources. The abstract manipulations of sound are alternately ambient and aggressive. Almost all of the sounds are generated, processed, recorded and played back out of cassettes. These mysterious beings orbiting in separate spheres and creating a delectable improv-graced ambiance. All releases have a do-it-yourself punk aesthetic. Various names are used along along with melophobia since early 2000s and deserted, possibly more not known.
