a hat-tip to the three NE albums I sourced the material from. I didn't use any other source material.
Drowning in a sea of Bliss (a cassette from Touch) was one of the albums that altered my way of hearing and put me on a new musical path. I bought further records directly from Earthly Delights and followed their journey from "Metal Frames" and "Drowning..." into their slow organic ambient works of the 1990s. I started a correspondence with Nigel Ayers - trading items in the post for a while. At one point I sent a doll melted onto a transistor radio and received in return a strange rectangular item with a matt green coating. It was in such a hard and decayed state that it took me a while to recognise that it was a very mouldy piece of toast. Time passes; I have listened to a great many different sounds in my time since then and my interest in many artists has flourished and then decayed away. But I always come back to "Drowning..." with its rough edits, its DIY aesthetic, distortion, blunted edges and with its relentless pace as a supreme piece of audio collage. Thank you Nigel.
Bio: Active in field recording and composition with found sounds since 2000. The radio shows I have created have played on many stations around the world, and some compositions have been used in film soundtracks.

Erotically rhythmic & psychotically spiritual, these two noise works take you to an abandoned warehouse by the playground tracks and cut your nightmares open with distorted razor blades. I'm in love. orlandolovekill
