Years ago I worked at a custom frame shop, and this piece tells the story of what happens to the abundance of sheet glass we used. First, the glass is cut to size on the wall mounted glass cutter, and the leftover pieces, which are typically long and narrow, either get broken down, or simply placed whole, into the metal glass can. When the can is full, it is taken out back to the compacter, where it is dumped and the glass is crushed
