Grilowsky is a Brazilian multiartist based in Berlin and Lisbon.
Ahead of award-winning collective film production company Telephone Colorido (Colorful Telephone), Grilo has created videos and movies from various genres, such as documentary, fiction, videoart, installations and videoclips, as well as various partnerships involving human and indigenous rights groups.
As a sound artist, he has developed trails and design projects, also has an extensive phonographic production with greater focus on sound experimentation, performatic music, cd-books, synesthetic research, urban art projects and installations.
Artist Statement
My artworks involves transversal experimentation with urban interventions, freak performances and unexpected installations inspired by the improvisation. Chaos, noise, lo-fi supports are part
of my creative process and aesthetic result, involving and developing the perception, imagination and reasoning of the audience. Transdisciplinary between the languages inspired by the anti- communication with extreme music and aleatory movements in the space, creating immersive atmospheres in closed or opened stages.
