Here's a submission for your Negativland compilation. It took me a while to figure out what to do .. and then I was talking to a friend about phone calls on late night radio ..

The photo is a picture of prairie performance artist Lori Weidenhammer, taken sometime in 1996 in a field at Cactus Lake, Saskatchewan.

The audio piece is called "Late-night Caller" by Absolute Value of Noise.

"A recreation of an urban-radio myth (existing in space along the Pacific coast somewhere between Negativland and New Sounds Gallery; between San Francisco and Vancouver)."
