"I recently found a tape from my recording archives labeled "Kawasaki On Drugs". This was a solo recording made with a circuit-bent Kawasaki toy keyboard. I then made two copies of the tape, and another copy of a reversed version. These four cassette tapes are the players in this candid excursion.
The picture for this track is a photograph of an encampment found in Durham, NC. I was waiting for my car to be serviced at the Jiffy Lube and found my way into the woods. There was a mattress, a shopping cart full of empty 40-ounces, and a broken-down washing machine + chair duo we see in the picture. This picture was taken in December 2017. The encampment has since gone.
Performer: Max Eastman (tapes, circuit-bent keyboard)
