A sound work based on Joseph Beuys's Ja Ja Ja Ja Ja, Nee Nee Nee Nee Nee (1968).
The piece consists of all clear instances of 'ja' (yes) and 'nein' (no) in Kommissar Rex series 3. The associated background sounds with each vocal instance have been retained as much as possible so that the piece becomes a sound collage (or musique concrète).
While the Beuys work is certainly not concrete poetry, this work is more so, and might be regarded as allied to Conceptual Writing, which has its roots in concrete poetry, Noigandres, L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E Poetry and conceptual art.
