This track was made in max/msp using samples of field recordings made in Poland, the UK and Czech Republic, these were the sounds of bees, crickets, foxes and frogs intertwined with sounds of their surrounding soundscapes (water, traffic, planes)

The process in max/msp was to re-compose the tracks in an improvised way, editing their speed with time-stretching and granular synthesis - the idea was to use musique concrete techniques but with digital techniques.

Phil Mil is a Musician and Sound Artist who explores field recording, noise music and improvisation as well as installation based works (occasionally) and is also a recent graduate from the London College of Communication MA Sound Arts course.
