Julia Pajot is an award winning composer researcher. Her long project "A Visual Approach to Sound" connects light and sound with particle motion in a visual composition of sound and instrumental foley/FX "spatial orchestration", developing sound artist Gary Bourgeois' immersing orchestra layout. Her works are expressionist and pictorial.

With early special musical abilities, she is a pianist and dark dramatic/coloratura soprano (C2-D6+).

She has composition Bmus from Oberlin and a composition Mmus from London Royal Academy of Music. she earned many awards for concert and film works, including a Global Music Award gold medal for her career as pictorial and film composer, and her piece "Tempete Ensoleillee", among others. She was finalist 3 times at ASCAP MORTON GOULD YOUNG COMPOSERS COMPETITION for orchestral works and a song from 19 years old (2006, 2007, 2009). Member of SCL, ASMAC, AWFC and WIA, she votes for Film Independent, ASIA-Hollywood, HMMA and was a judge on music committee of Annie Awards 2017.
