His visual work is in museums and private collections across the United States; his music has been presented regionally, nationally and internationally. is a field recording of a rainy night at a
cabin in Unity Woods, Unity Ohio, near the Edge of Appalachia Preserve in
Adams County, Ohio recorded in October of 2003. The foreground staccato
of rain with background ostinato of insects completes this calming
soundtrack.
audio tape recorder @ 48 KHz at 16 bits. I used two AKG C100S
on a Tascam DA-P1 digital
microphones in hypercardioid mode as a stereo pair. The field recording
was transferred digitally to a Mac Pro 2.8 GHz Quad Core computer with 12
GB RAM via a MOTU 2408 MKII. Amadeaus PRO was used for initial
editing and for final mastering.
