I am a composer and a multidisciplinary artist from Iran living in Armenia.

I am sending you my piece exclusively written for your call, it’s called “Choopan” which means Shepheard in Persian. It’s based on my personal passion for human sounds in nature, especially in circumstances like villages where the human and the animal connection is very close. I have tried to recreate that atmosphere for the audience, be it as an installation situation, a concert or simply listening through personal sound system or headphones.
