Credits due to Mike Youde who told Don Mandarin about his (partly transcribed) terrifying séance experiences in an Italian monastery in his early teens. His mother and grandfather likewise for confiding in him re ouija board and séance nights conducted by the theosophical society and in a girls boarding school.

There was a budget electronic music album racked up there which no one ever heard, could never afford to buy, so they made it for themselves. Don Mandarin is still making it. He made plenty of tape recordings in the shed, rare titles…
