Matt Warren - The Song That Keeps Me Sane

from cognitive dissonance by various

about

Exploring the the idea of wanting peace of mind, but putting oneself under pressure
to achieve that. The thoughts the bombard you into a chaotic mind include the
thought; "I MUST find a way to peace".
Taking this ideally aurally and combining everyday household, even domestic
objects and the self and using them to source sounds from combining the darker
industrial elements and the lighter airy ones to illustrate the dissonance.
The title comes from a line in the 13th Floor Elevators' track "I Had To Tell You"
Washing machine, fingers on steamy mirror, fingers on texture window, squeaking
floor, outdoor gale-force wind and multitrack whistling.
