The Invisible Dimensions explore and pilot infinite, parasonic thresholds, and the dynamic timespace between them. The work Ping Machine is primarily a field recording of an old, pinging refrigerator. The intro and ending are real-time samplings of the source sound, while the body of the work is a few seconds of the source extended out to several minutes. A multitude of layered vocal tracks, each one matching one of the many tones present in the depths of this time fragment, were then recorded and mixed.
