composed of multiple layers of sounds recorded in Venice and samples from the first part of Concerto « L’inverno » of Vivaldi’s Le Quattro Stagioni.
The field recording is focused on the movement and its sound result.
created using sounds of the water movement, sounds of anything moving in the water (squeaks, gratings, clickings, bangings, tappings, beatings… ) and sounds of everything moving (waterbus engine, bells, cries gull).
« H1 » is the first part of « H » (Hiver / Winter) and also the first part of HPEA les quatre saisons, a 48-minute audio creation over several years (2005-2011).
This composition in 12 parts (like in Vivaldi’s The Four seasons) is unreleased for now.
HPEA les quatre saisons is also the tittle of a series of four 12-minute videos that combine images of Venice and this sound composition in 12 parts.
This audio video creation was shown in Venice in 2011 at the French Alliance, in 2012 in Toulouse as part of Traverse Video Festival.
